Let’s get into the first Blog of 2023 with a story (Parable) that was told by our Lord and Savior- Jesus. Let’s read…
Jesus replied with this story: “A man prepared a great feast and sent out many invitations. When
the banquet was ready, he sent his servant to tell the guests, ‘Come, the banquet is ready.’ But
they all began making excuses. One said, ‘I have just bought a field and must inspect it. Please
excuse me.’ Another said, ‘I have just bought five pairs of oxen, and I want to try them out. Please
excuse me.’ Another said, ‘I just got married, so I can’t come.’ “The servant returned and told his
master what they had said. His master was furious and said, ‘Go quickly into the streets and
alleys of the town and invite the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame.’After the servant had
done this, he reported, ‘There is still room for more.’So his master said, ‘Go out into the country
lanes and behind the hedges and urge anyone you find to come, so that the house will be full. For
none of those I first invited will get even the smallest taste of my banquet.”- Luke 14:16-20 (NLT)
Could you imagine inviting so many only to be rejected, only to be turned down for something or someone. He must have been so hurt, saddened, we can see from the story he was furious. If we read the passage before this we see that this King invited friends and family members. There are several of us who can sympathize with the King as we to have felt rejection from the ones we love. No one is immune, it hurts. God too prepares a table before us, He stands at the door and knocks. He uses people, preachings, music, situations and so many other things to reach out to us. He has ran after us, pursued us only to be rejected.
Now please do not be discouraged or stay stuck in those thoughts….. I want to bring you Hope in 2023!
You may have not been invited to that event you hoped you would or that party you really wanted to go to, but you are invitated to a royal banquet. God specifically included you in this great banquet that He is hosting. He has placed your seat next to His (Eph. 2:6). He not only is inviting you to join Him but to be His guest of honor! It doesn’t matter what you have done, what deformities you may have, or what background you come from. You are invited!
We all have or will receive this invitation to join our Lord for a great feast, a feast like no other. I wonder what our response will be? Or better yet, what has our response been. My hope and prayer is that we would say “yes”.
“What a blessing it will be to attend a banquet in the Kingdom of God!”- Luke 14:15 (NLT)
This verse says it all. When we RSVP- Yes! We are not only saying yes to attending this great feast but we are saying yes to Jesus, yes to God, yes to the Holy Spirit. What’s even better is we become a part of a family, the royal family, the body of Christ and we will never be rejected. He loves us too much and hold us so tight to ever feel rejected again, instead scripture says we will be blessed.
Brothers and sisters, you have been invited to the Lord’s Banquet. He has made it clear that it doesn’t matter the form in which you come, but to come. The invitations have sent out and circle with in the earth. Will you RSVP and say- Yes? You are loved.

Entremos en el primer Blog de 2023 con una historia (Parábola) que fue contada por nuestro Señor y Salvador- Jesús. Leamos…
Jesús respondió con la siguiente historia: «Un hombre preparó una gran fiesta y envió muchas
invitaciones. Cuando el banquete estuvo listo, envió a su sirviente a decirles a los invitados:
“Vengan, el banquete está preparado”; pero todos comenzaron a poner excusas. Uno dijo:
“Acabo de comprar un campo y debo ir a inspeccionarlo. Por favor, discúlpame”. Otro dijo:
“Acabo de comprar cinco yuntas de bueyes y quiero ir a probarlas. Por favor, discúlpame”. Otro
dijo: “Acabo de casarme, así que no puedo ir”. El sirviente regresó y le informó a su amo lo que
le habían dicho. Su amo se puso furioso y le dijo: “Ve rápido a las calles y callejones de la ciudad
e invita a los pobres, a los lisiados, a los ciegos y a los cojos”. Después de hacerlo, el sirviente
informó: “Todavía queda lugar para más personas”. Entonces su amo dijo: “Ve por los senderos
y detrás de los arbustos y a cualquiera que veas, insístele que venga para que la casa esté llena.
Pues ninguno de mis primeros invitados probará ni una migaja de mi banquete”.- Lucas 14:16-20 (NTV)
¿Te imaginas invitar a tantos solo para ser rechazados, solo para ser rechazados por algo o alguien? Debe haber estado tan dolido, entristecido, podemos ver en la historia que estaba furioso. Si leemos el pasaje anterior a este, vemos que este Rey invitó a amigos y familiares. Somos varios los que podemos simpatizar con el Rey al haber sentido el rechazo de los que amamos. Nadie es inmune, eso duele. También Dios prepara una mesa delante de nosotros, se para a la puerta y llama. Él usa personas, predicaciones, música, situaciones y muchas otras cosas para llegar a nosotros. Corrió detrás de nosotros, nos persiguió sólo para ser rechazado.
Ahora, por favor, no se desanime ni se quede atrapado en esos pensamientos… ¡Quiero traerles Esperanza en 2023!
Puede que no te hayan invitado a ese evento que esperabas o a esa fiesta a la que realmente querías it, pero estás invitado a un banquete real. Dios te incluyó específicamente en este gran banquete que está organizando. Él ha puesto tu asiento junto al Suyo (Efesios 2:6). ¡Él no solo te está invitando a unirte a Él, sino a ser Su invitado de honor! No importa lo que hayas hecho, las deformidades que puedas tener o de qué formación provengas. ¡Estas invitado!
Todos tenemos o recibiremos esta invitación para unirnos a nuestro Señor en una gran fiesta, una fiesta como ninguna otra. Me pregunto cuál será nuestra respuesta. O mejor aún, cuál ha sido nuestra respuesta. Mi esperanza y oración es que digamos “sí”.
¡Qué bendición será participar de un banquete en el reino de Dios!.- Lucas 14:15 (NTV)
Este versículo lo dice todo. Cuando confirmamos nuestra asistencia: ¡Sí! No solo decimos sí a asistir a esta gran fiesta, sino que decimos sí a Jesús, sí a Dios, sí al Espíritu Santo. Lo que es aún mejor es que nos convertimos en parte de una familia, la familia real, el cuerpo de Cristo y nunca seremos rechazados. Él nos ama mucho y nos abraza tan fuerte que nunca más nos sentimos rechazados, en cambio, las Escrituras dicen que seremos bendecidos.
Hermanos y hermanas, han sido invitados al Banquete del Señor. Ha dejado claro que no importa la forma en que vengas, sino por venir. Las invitaciones se han enviado y circulan en la tierra. ¿Puede confirmar su asistencia y decir- Sí? Eres amado.
